• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Report to Principal/Administration
• Create meaningful lesson plans from a Christian Worldview
• Exhibit a genuine nurturing and caring attitude towards all students
• Utilize curriculum mapping to ensure completion of the required curriculum
• Plan meaningful and educational classwork
• Regularly communicate with parents
• Enforce rules following school policy

• Implements the lessons set by the lead teacher
• Preserves the continuity of the classroom by following the routines, procedures, and classroom management system established by the lead teacher.
• Defers to the knowledge and experience of the teacher’s aide when seeking to understand the children and their needs.
• Communicates with students in a patient, encouraging manner.
