- There is only one God and He exists as a triune being: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Holy Spirit infills and empowers each believer, bringing wisdom, godly character and spiritual gifts.
- The Bible is God’s message of eternal truth to all people, impacting characters and lifestyles in practical ways.
- The death of Jesus on the cross provides freedom from sin and eternal life to anyone who chooses to believe in Him.
- The choice to be part of God’s family is a free-will decision to repent of sin and accept Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Church life inspires and empowers people as they grow in their relationships with God and each other.
- Water baptism and communion are a vital part of a Christian’s response to a loving God.
- Christ will return at a time known only by the Father, fulfilling Biblical prophecy.
Family & Community Values
At Ridge Academy, the Word of God is our final authority. While culture may see these matters differently, we look to Scripture for our direction and practice in every area of life. These values guide how we partner with families, disciple students, and cultivate a Christ-centered community.
Please note: Because Ridge Academy is growing, our policies and procedures may be adapted or revised by the Board or leadership as needed. The biblical truths we stand on will not change, but processes may shift as we strive for excellence. We believe marriage is a covenantal relationship between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–5). God created both man and woman equally in His image and, in His love, gave them unique and complementary roles within marriage as a reflection of Christ and the Church (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:18; Ephesians 5:22–31). God has entrusted parents with the primary responsibility of discipling and teaching their children (Deuteronomy 6:4–9; Ephesians 6:1–4; Proverbs 22:6; Psalm 78:1–7). As a Christian school, Ridge Academy exists to partner with parents—to support, affirm, and reinforce the biblical teaching taking place in the home.
We believe that all life is a gift from God and is to be cherished. Life begins at conception, and every life has purpose and value (Psalm 139:13–16; Isaiah 44:2a; Isaiah 49:5a).
Because every person is created in the image of God, each individual is valuable and worthy of dignity and respect. God calls us to love one another, to encourage unity, and to treat others with kindness and honor (Mark 12:29–31; 1 John 4:19–20; Ephesians 4:1–3). Bullying, in any form, is wrong and contrary to God’s design for human relationships. At Ridge Academy, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where students grow in both character and compassion. Acts of bullying will be addressed with grace and truth, with the goal of restoration and healing.
Discipline is more than correction—it is discipleship. We believe that discipline, when done well, is restorative. It is an an opportunity to guide the heart, promote repentance, and ultimately cultivate self-discipline. In love and truth, we seek to correct behavior while shaping character, always pointing students back to Christ.
